Good Morning,
Carol Steficek is the author of the writing for today..."SERVANTS." Her theme is that leaders lead by their example. This includes generals, politicians, teachers and many more who are good leaders. Carol lists "King Jesus" as the best leader of all. She wrote, "Remember, whatever you do at work, home, school, or at church -- you are part of a team. You are a servant of the King of Kings and thus a servant of others."
Have a sweet Saturday, and please remember to pray for our country.

Today's Devotional
SERVANTS
"...the greatest
among you
should be like the youngest,
and the one who rules
like the one who
serves."
Luke 2:26b
Most of
us have heard war stories of great generals who were right there in the
trenches with their men. They led by example and actions. These
were true leaders and heroes.
The best bosses I have ever worked for were those who would get out and help us
when needed. They didn't sit back in their offices and simply give
orders. They worked with us as a team.
This was also true of the greatest of all the kings, King Jesus. The God
of the universe emptied Himself to take on the form of a man and put aside His
power and rightful reign. He really got down in the trenches with
mankind.
Not only that. While living on earth Hew was a servant of all. His
example to His disciples and followers was always to put other first. He
did good to everyone. He healed. He forgave sins. He was
always merciful and compassionate. He loved and received nothing in
return.
Jesus gave us the example of how we are to live the life of servants just as He
did. We are to love our neighbors as ourselves, give unlimited
forgiveness to those who sin against us, put others before ourselves -- in
short, we are to be servants.
Remember, whatever you do at work, home, school, or at church -- you are part
of a team. You are a servant of the King of Kings and thus a servant of
others.
