Good morning,
Sandy Billingham is the author for the Wednesday devotional, Her title is, "Resolving Conflict Is God's Plan. Sandy shares that you cannot run away from conflict. When you try to run away from it the result is that you take it with you. The only thing you can do that will bring success will be to face it and work it out. Sandy wrote about what God will do, "He will surely lift the heaviness, bitterness, resentment and lacking of forgiveness as we surrender those things at His feet. In exchange He will bring healing and transformation to our hearts."
Have a wondrous Wednesday.
God bless...

Wednesday Devotional
"Resolving Conflict Is God's Plan"
Conflict is never an easy thing for any one. Being confronted or having to confront others is always uncomfortable to make things right.
In many cases it's so much easier to just delete that email or facebook post or voice message. Or some may move to another neighborhood, job, church or even to another city or state. Escaping the conflict is the "easy way out".
The thing with just running away does not solve that conflict. In essence you are just taking that conflict with you wherever you go. You are not resolving that issue but just stuffing it deep down, trying to pretend it is not really there.
The Lord tells us in His Word...
Running away is not the answer. God wants us
to face it and allow Him to bring resolution and healing.
We are to love our brothers having compassion
and being tenderhearted towards them.
We must forgive and seek the peace of our brethren.
1 Peter 3:8 & 11
As we let God be in the midst of the conflict, He will mend our brokenness with our brethren and bring His supernatural healing that only He can do.
He will surely lift the heaviness, bitterness, resentment and lacking of forgiveness as we surrender those things at His feet. In exchange He will bring healing and transformation to our hearts.
Yes, it is so easy to escape conflict... but that is not God's way. Let us forgive, love and pursue His peace, and we will see our hearts transformed and healed. Not only that, but we will be forever changed and relationships made whole in Christ Jesus.
In His Sweet Peace,
Sandy Billingham
